PAY IT FORWARD PROGRAM

On the first day of class, students CHOOSE AS A GROUP whether to participate in a "Pay It Forward" program.  This program is simply to recognize needs outside of ourselves and do whatever we can, in the short time we are together, to make a difference in others' lives.  If the class decides to participate, they choose an organization in their community for which they will collect donations from family, friends and neighbors.  Then, as a group on the last day of class, students will deliver and present their collected donations  to the organization of their choice.
